Whilst working at ZEDfactory architects, I helped develop the design of their prefabricated kit housing system, which includes a solid timber frame, super insulation, a passive ventilation system, high thermal mass floors and ceilings, and a photovoltaic roof which generates more electricity over the course of the year than the inhabitants use, making the house ‘zero bills’.
